I came from industry strategy / corp dev roles. Given your background, you shouldn’t have issue getting hired no MBA. Perhaps you’ll have some more leg work to do with the angel exits (E.g. big tech, etc.) but confident there are lots of industry roles you’d not need it for mgr role given your SA level. Also did my MBA part time in those industry roles, they only sponsored ~25%, very rare to get full sponsorship from industry (though does exist). But, still helps
If you are OK going part time, your chance of getting partial MBA funding in industry is pretty high. Otherwise, better off trying through consulting (though it continues to diminish, and there are a number of firms that keep increasing service commitments post MBA to get their return)

1. common paths are:
consulting > mba (sponsored) > consulting (payback your sponsorship) > industry
OR:
Consulting > mba (not sponsored) > industry
2. No, industry firms very rarely sponsor MBAs and if they do it’s part time / EMBA at best.
