I have two offers in hand. KPMG and Deloitte. CTC is almost same whereas variable is more in KPMG. I am inclined towards Deloitte India. But HR in KPMG told me that I won't be able to join KPMG India in future as I accepted their offer. I informed her within 2 weeks and didn't do anything for onboarding. I didn't ask to increase the amount or JB and I strongly believe I informed early so they can look for other candidates. Is this bluff? Any HR here to clarify

Hi folks, I recently applied for a new role in EMEA for a Specialist Solutions Architect. Got through n received an offer letter. But seems like the base is a bit lower than what i saw online in a couple of places (not sure of years of experience there though). Is it worth it to bring it up and ask the HM to raise an exception? How much time will this take? Is it a risk? Already the entire process has dragged on cause of delays on recruitment's part etc. Any advice or insight would be helpful!

1st Job - 90k…. Is this a good salary? Late to the game at 34. Don’t even know anything about personal finance. I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? Should I apply again in new year or don’t bother ?

Cognizant put my candidature on hold after both rounds of interviews and HR ended up telling me that it’s coz of my current CTC. They will interview more candidates and accordingly get back to me . As of now, my candidature is “on hold”.

I was told that they’d have to give me a higher designation to justify my kind of salary. Right now my YOE fall in Manager band. How true is this?

I have been working with Cognizant for over 2 years now. The client that I’ve been working with recently asked me to apply for an internal position with them. I did so, however, now the client is saying that they are not planning to disclose this information to Cognizant and that I shouldn’t too.
