I joined Oracle in December. As a new joinee I was just given a laptop and nothing else but as far as I know new joinees get a few more things apart from laptop. Is it just me who faced this or all the new joinees during wfh have seen this?

Not currently in BigLaw but looking to lateral to a remote securities/cap markets position (live in a secondary market) from a boutique. Non-traditional older associate, billed 2000 hours last year and received a 2.5% raise and $1,000 bonus (other associates received $20k). Performance was not terrible, but less supervision so definitely made mistakes. Now finding out I am undervalued after getting interest from firms in the range of 50-60% more than my current salary. Is it possible to get early termination once my new offer comes through or I have to serve 3 months NP?

Im a contractor. Another firm has reached out for 100% remote work for basically a lateral move. I really like where I’m at right now. I’m remote but if I turn to FTE which is very possible later this year I would probably end up having to go in 1 or 2 days a week to NYC. My manager knows this is basically a dealbreaker for me. Should I let my manager know I have another firm reaching out but I really want to stay but I’d need to be a remote FTE? They mentioned several times I’m an asset.

I’m too intimidated to post in the other thread but I really want to go back to the office at least in some capacity. I joined a while back and it feels like everyone who is experienced is now too busy or doesn’t care about meeting the new hires, and my entire class is just floundering along by ourselves. Like, stay home if you want but don’t vilify us for wanting human interaction at work? My friends are great but they’re not going to be able to help me with my job…

I have an offer from Oracle. The designation mentioned in offer letter is "Member Technical Staff." In the email it was also mentioned as "Senior Software Developer". But I interviewed for Senior Automation QA. Does my job role match my designation?

I asked the recruiter and he said Senior Automation QA and Senior Software Developer are given the same designation. I'm worried if my work will be different from what I am experienced in due to the designation. Can anyone clarify?
