1) more representation in casting
2) supporting Asian owned businesses and telling their stories in a better way than the Panda Express commercials
3) more Asian creatives/hires (the only Asians I ever see are in brand)
Thanks! These are really good.
Hey Executive VP! I would offer leadership/communication classes for those of Asian decent because often times Asian minorities were taught to ‘shut up and do your work’. This has resulted in passive aggressive behavior or some personality challenges because we try to avoid confrontation etc. Strong leaders need to be able to handle difficult conversations even though they can be frightening to speak up. Just a thought :)

What WK1 said. Leadership / management training, Asians aren't showman/woman in general and don't self promote as well or as much either.
There's an astute insight from a Steven Yuen GQ profile. He mentioned Asians are "glue people". We'll quitely do the work and do it so well we get stuck in middle management while those who talk and self promote move up and we continue supporting their upward trajectory.
