I have no advice for you, I’m just here to say congratulations 💕
Yes. I was exhausted my whole first trimester. Like fall asleep in meetings tired. Like miss your train stop cause you’re asleep tired. Coffee (within acceptable limits), a good pre-natal and exercise helped me. But yeah, napped a ton.
Edit: Congrats!
Same. I literally blocked time in my day to snooze because I could not make it thru the day
Congratulations on the pregnancy! Completely normal. I regularly took naps in my car during my lunch break. It does get a bit better in the second semester. Come join us in the Moms in Advertising bowl :) https://joinfishbowl.com/bowl_h4zqxn

Oh the car naps saved me...
I’m not pregnant and always need a nap so you’re probably doing well 😃
Totally normal. The 1st trimester exhaustion is real!
I need a nap at 3:00 p.m. everyday and i’m not pregnant. Congrats!!!
Do you know what I loved most about pregnancy? No matter what you are doing... especially napping! But sitting, reading, in a meeting... anything... you are still among the most productive people on the planet! You are making a human being!!!!
Agree. It’s nature’s protective strategy. You will probably get a lot of your energy back after the first trimester
You will want to nap all the time!
That is wonderful news, congratulations!

Congrats! First trimester felt like perpetual jet lag for me with both pregnancies. Would come come and pass out on the couch at 6 or 7. Flipped a switch almost to the day in second trimester when I got my energy back.
I was also the first of my close friends to get pregnant and to compound it at the time was living in a new city so didn’t really have anyone nearby. Don’t be afraid to do things that might otherwise seem cheesy like joining your city’s local moms/parents groups. They can be a great resource and way to meet other moms who are nearby and due around the same time.
I was sleeping at my desk at work when I was prego— the exhaustion is real. At least you are at home vs in the office. a 20-30 min nap in your own bed may do you wonders between meetings if you can swing it.
Super normal! Congrats 😃
Congrats! Completely normal! Your body is doing amazing things. Sleep! Sleep! Sleep!
Yes super normal. Congratulations!!!!
I have a pre-teen now and find naps mandatory.
Not a mom here, but my close friend group is completely because one of my friends has a baby and brought in other new moms she met. My point is, don’t be afraid to reach out to the people who don’t know you yet, but know what you’re going through - and the people who know you well but can’t relate. It takes a village, and we’re all here for you!
Congratulations! And yes totally normal. I have 3 kids, 1st trimester exhaustion is insane.
