I have it. Was diagnosed when I was about 20ish. Was able to get pregnant 2x with the help of fertility treatments. I did have a chemical and pregnancy too. But it’s possible
Cheer up OP! My sister and cousin both have it, and I’m pretty certain I do too. I’ll get tested eventually but I’ve put it off bc there’s nothing I can do right now. I’ve read plenty of success stories tho, and my cousin got pregnant no problem! Infertility is a major fear for everyone because it’s something totally unknown until you finally start trying. You should Insta follow one of my fave bloggers who has PCOS and posts about it a lot - Lee from America. Hope this helps a bit! :)
My grandmother and all her sisters have it, they all had multiple kids. My mother has it, had multiple kids, my sister and I have it, both have kids! It’s more than just possible, its likely you will be able to get pregnant! Don’t get too upset. PCOS is super common and many can get pregnant naturally, some need to take drugs to help them ovulate. Don’t worry about it!
Not an issue at all! I have it, and it can be managed with diet (extremely low carb). Also, the doc can give you meds to spur ovulation. Better knowing this now rather than question why you might be having trouble getting pregnant!
Thank you so much y’all! All this helps! ❤️
I have PCOS and was still able to get pregnant naturally. It doesn't hurt to lose weight/exercise as well if you are on the heavy side. Best to be on a low carb diet as you can become insulin resistant because of PCOS
I have it and just had a baby! I shared your anxiety this time last year and had to get on Clomid to aid ovulation. Talk to a good RE, and as others have said, PCOS is just a hormonal imbalance and can be managed
PCOS isn't a disease, it basically just means your hormones (excess androgens / testosterone) are temporarily out of whack.
PCOS is super common and I kind of suspect it’s just doctor speak for your hormones are kinda off and we can’t diagnose a specific reason for it. I have it and got pregnant after 7 months trying with a good RE We did 4 rounds of letrozol and then 3 rounds letrozol plus IUI. The result is 6 months old now and totally amazing.
