I just found this tax info out which only hurts unmarried individuals and benefits married. I wanted to sell my home due to equity in it at todays listing prices and apparently if a single individual, any home that sells more than 200k over your original purchase price you have to pay a huge capital gains tax… now,if your married they give you a 400k differential and anything over that you pay capital gains. Ex. Unclear of why this tax law hasn’t been updated? Wow! It’s an extremely biased

At a work dinner party, someone I barely know just all the sudden started with questions like ‘you never wanted children?’ And ‘would you consider adopting?’ What happen to small talk regarding weather and fun weekend plans?

Do you feel like nowadays more men than women want kids? Considering they suffer less negative effects physically, socially, and career-wise.

Did you get a pet (or pets) because you wanted to replace the idea of having children? Or are pets just as stressful?

I've noticed that the people I know who really want kids even though they are single/don't have a SO all came from broken families (divorced parents or dad left). Have any of you noticed the same trend?
