I just graduated college and I’m about to start a job as an application security analyst making good money. However, I’d like to make more money and would like to find a side hustle. I’ve looked around on things such as Data Annotation but haven’t been accepted yet. The side hustle does not even have to be tech or career related. It could even be like donating plasma. I’ve been an M2 since I started at Meta 5 years ago. 6 of my last 11 performance reviews were Exceeds Expectations. 2 Meets Mosts early on in career but then the rest were Meets All. Been asking what my gap has been to get to D1. People that worked for me (started same day) are now D1. Peers have been promoted past me to D1 (Director). Been told my gap is influencing up and out. But … if this is my ONlY gap isn’t that ok? We’re not meant to be perfect right? What am I missing? Go to HR?
