Honestly I would just move on. More than likely they are all vaccinated and while the optics aren’t great I have to imagine wearing masks all day, every day at work has to be getting to people.
Yep, 600,000 dead (10x Vietnam) and a deadly resurgence and we’re just being uptight. Masks work best when worn by all. And if you must wear them, do it right.
I am never that type of person to “tattle” but I’m taking my health very seriously and wondering if this should be reported since it’s a medical office
SM1- in my state they are required in healthcare settings, regardless of vaccination status

Agree with @AD1. It is likely that they are all vaccinated and transparent about it and their potential exposure to COVID outside of work.
Same comment as I made above…
I make no assumptions when it comes to other people’s vaccination status. And again, they are required in medical offices. Those should be “safe” places for people to not have to worry about this.
You’re right. It’s probably best if you just stay home at all times. Never know when someone might take their mask off out in the world. Gotta consider your health!
Did I say I walked out, didn’t stay to have my appointment? Nope. But I’m still cautious with where I go and I’d expect to not have to worry about masks when at a doctors office. Sounds like you don’t agree with considering other people’s health…
Why are you discussing your concerns here and not with your practitioner since you were just there? If you did discuss your concerns of discomfort, what did they say?
G1- my responsibility is my health and medical office staff/doctors/nurses should already know the mask requirement (which they do because the pulled them up when they saw me approaching). Yes, maybe I should have said something directly to them but I’m tired of having to remind people. Maybe it’d be different if it was just one person and I could give them a pass but this was all the staff in the front. Was asking to see if anyone else has encountered this and what they would do/have done.
If they pulled their mask up when you approached, then it sounds like they are handling themselves the right way. Not sure why you’re concerned with what they do before you enter/before you’re near them.
When they say masks are required in the office, they mean when you’re AROUND potential unvaccinated or potential people you can infect. Otherwise you’re asking someone to wear a mask every single place they enter even if it’s a private room meant for 1 person.
As someone who is also “higher risk”, saying you’re vaccinated and high risk doesn’t really go together anymore as 2/3 vaccines are over 90% effective.
Most of the new cases are coming from unvaccinated folks, so you are very likely to be fine. Cases are on the rise from areas with very low vaccination rates. And again, you’re vaccinated so not sure why you’re promoting fear mongering.
If you have that much of an issue with it, you should be able to find another doctor’s office to go to.
