Ya whatever company you work for now will be upset if you leave so soon but at the same time they wouldn't think twice about letting you go if your role was no longer needed so you don't own them anything. Life is short follow your dreams
Sure. Interviewing is getting more info to make a decision. Nothing wrong with that
Take the interview and see how far you can get
Go for it. What would be the downside?
Your current employer would drop you for someone better/cheaper in a moment if they could. You don’t owe any org anything.
Definitely at least take the interview. If after that you realize it’s a role you want go for it and don’t worry about how you made several moves in a short span of time. That should be easy to explain to anyone.
It’s a job I’ve been wanting for a while now. Would you guys at least interview and see what’s what?
Never too early to take the opportunity of your dreams!
Don’t see why you should have a moral/ethical obligation
Apply and see what happens?
No harm in doing the interview. And if they make you an offer and it’s dream job status, take it! 3-4 months won’t be much of a red flag if you stay for 2+ years
Reach for the stars Franky!
What would you say if a colleague said the same? It's all based on your values. I say go for it.
OP - how did you find the role?
