I just learned about the role ESG analyst. It sounds amazing for me and what I'm interested in doing but I don't know much about it and how I'd go about securing that type of position. Does anyone have any general (or specific) advice or knowledge on this subject? Anything at all would be amazing :)

I work in ESG as an analyst, but not investment, more Corp responsibility for a bank. My advice is honestly show enthusiasm and a base understanding of SOME facet. Carbon offsets, RECs, GHG... we're all learning very quickly and it's always a changing landscape with the SEC but good news is it's unlikely you get an analyst with 5 YoE yet. But that's not investment side so hopefully someone can add context there

I quit my job 2 months ago, and started a new one.

The new job that I have looks good on paper (can buy PTO, programs, WFH 60%, etc.), but my other company just feels like home.

I miss the people, I miss the growth opportunities, I miss how much I learned everyday, I miss how supportive my Manager was. It truly feels like I’m missing “home”.

Should I stick the new job out for longer, or should I reach out to my previous employer?

As I have worked in different technology in between, does it create any issue after joining??
