What do you do when you're sick while traveling?
Of course I am sick as hell on my remote week :(

Don’t have an advice, but want you to know you are seen. Vent away!
Thank you, that is very appreciated. I've told the CEO multiple times about the issues, I've even gone as far as to send him photo evidence of things this guy is doing to sabotage me/the company. He's also lashed out at other employees in a totally irrational manner. We're a small company, so no HR department, nobody to report this to above the CEO, who just doesn't seem to care. I feel stuck.
From what you described (particularly nobody liking him), it sounds like the situation might resolve itself. If you wait by the river long enough, you’ll eventually see the bodies of your enemies float by.
Jesus, that's a dark metaphor... And I will be using it.
That sounds MIIIIIIIIIISERABLE.
We’re a small company and I’m one of three that reports to the CEO. There’s nowhere else for me to go :/ would applying for him actually have a chance of working? Or were you just joking lol
Can you tell your ceo it’s him or you and mean it?
Been following this thread for some time as it hits home, but didn’t comment cause haven’t had much to add. Now I have to say this suggestion sounds the best but only if you don’t see it as bluff and are actually willing to walk away. To ease your pain, do you really REALLY like the company where ceo doesn’t listen to their employees and allows this to carry on? I’m doubtful, my guess is you’re a bit scared to leave
Sounds like this a-hole has some blackmail on CEO, otherwise why is this behaviour being tolerated
You think??? Because seriously none of us can figure out why he’s still here or what he even does besides piss everyone off
Either the employee has something on the CEO or the employee is personally related to the CEO somehow. Either way, he’s not going anywhere unless someone brings a lawsuit against the company for the employee’s actions. Be it sexual or physically/ verbally abusive.

Sorry to hear. I feel you. The key to being fulfilled is to have a good relationship with your boss. I had my boss fired once. AMA. (Caveat: his boss new me before he hired this guy so there was trust between us)
My pet peeve is my work being changed without notification - like screaming banchee kind of mad. Since he is not the boss treat him as so. "Hey Bob, I noticed you are changing my submitted work. While I value collaboration, the final product is up to me. Please do not do it again. Thanks."
Oh man, I have been there. There’s nothing worse than a toxic person at work. One bad apple can spoil the whole bunch.
This is challenging, because "doing the right thing" won't always mean a good outcome. I can only share a personal anecdote. Many years ago, a group of trustworthy employees met with me in a respectful and non-emotional way to share deep concerns about a manager who was not living up to our expectations and culture. This person was very good at "managing up" and hiding these behaviors. It became clear that most of the team was on edge, thinking about leaving, and business suffered - but seeing this really took that group's intervention.
