I just saw on CNN that teachers and school staff can all get the COVID-19 vaccine if you go directly to drug stores in your area that have the vaccine. They have been given directions from the federal government to vaccinate public school employees immediately!

I got my first dose this past Saturday, just had to bring my school ID to show I am currently a teacher. I was the youngest person there by a good 30 years, but idc since I will be fully vaccinated in time for Easter. I haven't been able to visit family for a holiday for over a year, and I am the last to get vaccine, so I get to go see everyone.

That’s a wonderful side benefit to the vaccine. I hope you have a wonderful Easter!

Go on the CVS website, choose coronavirus virus vaccine and your state. Answer a couple questions and it will show available appointments near you. Best chance of getting an appointment is around 6 am. The site refreshes itself too!

Walgreens has worked for teachers in the SF area.

I’ve heard that from friends and family in several different states. it seems like they might be a good first call for an appointment!

Teachers in WV over 50 have all had the chance and more are being able to this week.

I got mine (I’m under 50) though another way.

What states have not given their teachers vaccines yet?

I’m not sure which states aren’t vaccinating teachers yet, but I know I’ve read about at least a couple different states.

Is there a way to find out what vaccines are being offered? If possible I want to avoid Johnson and Johnson.

I just asked and was denied because it’s just the 1A in this county

I'm 16 weeks pregnant (1st time). My office (in NYC) is re-starting back to work in 2 weeks. I previously had an exemption for fertility treatments as exemptions were given for any medical reason. Now there are no more exemptions being given & I would need to request one from my LoB head.

Going back to work Jan 4 and my 3 month old won’t take a bottle. We’ve tried since she was 1.5 months and she just holds the bottle nipple in her mouth but she doesn’t suck.

For now, I’m ok with breastfeeding while working, but just in case with meetings and whatnot, it’d just be awesome if my husband could feed her.

Any advice? Is it possible to get baby on a feeding schedule that I could just put on my Google calendar as “pumping” time?

TLDR: Getting over your ex of 2.5 years ghosting you after they said they wanted to reconnect.

I was dating someone for about 2.5 years and then we broke up because of COVID and the long distance was making it too difficult to continue. After we broke up, she started seeing someone else but I was heartbroken and it’s taken me over a year to really get over everything and process those feelings. (Cont.)
