I just started on a new team. I am so overwhelmed the team is all new. I feel I have to take on everything. Our strategy guy either hates me or is taking out his anger out on me. I’m so frustrated.

Delegate. Don’t feel like you have to take everything on. Lean on your director and manager. The manager should be pulling their weight too. Also keep tabs on your team to make sure morale is high. If they respect you and think that you care about them they are more likely to stay and help you. Don’t get overwhelmed and forget about them.

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. I've gotten a great offer. Rather than writing my two week notice, I opted to first speak with my supervisor to see what they need from me before I leave. After many years in this business I haven’t been promoted beyond my current title of Senior Art Director. I recently was hired by an agency I respect, but most of my colleagues are considerably younger and outrank me. Advertising isn’t the only field that experiences this type of situation. Most people learn differently from others, still others like myself with ADHD and my grandson on the autism spectrum, we definitely see things and learn things in a different way. We all get to the same place we just take a different route. People need to keep that in mind before placing others on PIPS. Keep the journey in mind and allow the person the luxury of listening, you might learn something.
