Now he's bartending under the table. I have huge concerns that he has serious drug/alcohol problems but it also just boils down to, does he want to improve? I signed for a new job two months ago and will start next month (3 mo notice period in Europe). They were very keen on getting me on-board ASAP before signing but since I signed the contract it has been silent from the new employee. I remember when I first started working on my thesis project. My adviser asked me to get some funding for it, but he didn't give me any advice about how to do that. He just told me that if I wanted money for my project, I'd have to go through some kind of committee process and submit an application for funding from them. Sure enough, after weeks of writing applications and waiting around for responses from the committee members (who were always too busy), I eventually got approved for funding!

I resigned from Capgemini and in the first talk with manager he said that he will leave me early So on basis of that I committed in other organisation that I will join by some date ( given 15 days gap), but now they are saying to serve the entire notice period. And I joined Capgemini 3 months back and had no bond. Now the other organisation confirmed my joining by my expected date, what should I can do?

I got invited to take part in the interview process by first answering a bunch of situational/case study like problems and then had to complete this long work style assessment after which they requested a call/interview only to find out the comp for the role is way below my target. Why would you make people waste so much time on your stupid assessments before asking expected salary range?!

I am excited for marriage but have no as in zero excitement about a wedding. I would like to just sign the papers and be done with it. I’ve never had any one in my social circle go this route so I feel weird about how I want nothing in the way of a wedding. My fiancé is okay with it as long as we do something small with his family in his home country.
