I’m there with you. Make sure the night mode is on so the blue light on your phone is blocked. I find reading something I enjoy and
Is mindless helps me get back to sleep. Guided meditation through calm also helps

When I got this bad back in 2014 or 2015 I talked to my doctor and started low levels of lexapro and it did wonders to solve this exact problem.

If you get up that early that's awesome. You have a few hours to yourself where you absolutely don't need to work. Work out, go for a run.

I have work on my mind quite a bit outside of work, but I’m only now becoming aware of how often it is. I’ll find myself thinking about problems while in the shower or while laying down before bed. Is this common? Is it unhealthy? How much mental capacity do you spend on work while outside of work?

Feel like I’ve come to dread the monthly check-ins with my counselor. Even though I’ve got good feedback, healthy utilization, etc., it seems like it’s not enough in these conversations. Advice?


Girlfriend has very obvious high functioning anxiety and body image issues that she admits but thinks she doesn’t need therapy or medication and that reading self-help books will help her. It’s not changing in the last several years and it’s impacting our relationship. Anyone have experience with their SO dealing with untreated anxiety? I know I can’t control her but would like to express my feelings without sending her into a spiral. For context, I’ve been in therapy for 12 months and medicated


What are tips to stop “hate scrolling,” ie looking at social media opinions/profiles that conflict w your own? Sometimes I find myself doing it just to feel something, but I know it’s bad.

Feeling depressed about the state of our society. So much hate and anger on all sides, even if justified it doesn’t bring us any closer to working toward a solution. I feel we are more polarized now than ever before. Feeling overwhelmed and hopeless


I’ve suffered from workaholism for a long time. Thanks to a lot of great self help books and therapy, I’m no longer putting work on a pedestal and I’m spending a lot more time on self care and my marriage. But, unfortunately, I am now getting withdrawals, because my body is used to the daily adrenaline of throwing myself into work. It’s this terrible feeling of like anguish/unease in my gut, but I don’t have anything I’m worried about- it’s like my body wants to find something to worry about.


I wish I could have the conversations we have in this bowl at work. I think my happiness levels would increase by an order of magnitude. Grateful that this bowl (and app) exists.
