Anyone at Deloitte know how to view utilization?
I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?
61% utilization as a first year associate. RIP

Standard 3 step process for trying to remove derogatory info from your report:
1) Contact the company that had the $35 delinquent payment and request that they delete the late payment notation if you pay it now (generally better via snail mail to executive office vs email/phone call)
2) If they say no, pay it anyways to keep it from becoming a collection
3) If attempt #1 doesn't work, as it likely won't, keep sending a letter every month requesting the deletion of the late payment notation as a matter of good will (Google goodwill deletion letter template)
If none of those steps work, the delinquency will remain on your report for ~7 years, though a 30 day late will stop majorly depressing your score after a year or so. The impact of that delinquency, assuming there are no others, will continue to lessen over the 7 years it stays on your report.
Note--all this communication needs to be with the creditor, not the credit reporting agency. The CRA won't do anything about deleting a delinquency before it's legally required to be excluded around the 7 year mark unless the creditor has them delete it.
Call the reporting company and make amends, they can clear it up
Is it easy to get a hold of someone at the credit reporting agencies?
Just to be sure, are you talking about a fee in your credit report, or just a fee charged by your back because you didn't pay on time this month? If it's the latter, most danks don't report late payments until they're 30-60 days late. When it happened to me (missed a billing cycle payment) I just paid it in full and called the bank, they reversed it immediately
Yes I missed a payment cycle. I am also a customer with the bank and use their credit card which is where I was late. Somehow forgot. I have over 100k cash with the back too. So kind of annoying
