Following bc I face similar issues. I hope it gets better for you soon. As a side note I mentioned a few 13 hour days I did a week and it seemed to help me.
Following because I am also having the same experience. No wisdom from me but just know you’re not alone.
It sounds like you are over staffed. Do you have some sort of work coordinator or mentor partner you can go to who can help you potentially get off some of the deals you are on and make sure you don’t get staffed on anything new for awhile?
I’m afraid that if I ask to get rid of things that they won’t later keep giving me work. Both choices are stressful.
I mean, they can see me hours, right? I’m afraid to pipe up and seem … lazy. Although it’s day two of no sleep for me.
I appreciate this!
You can’t do more than work. You also need to eat and sleep. Once it gets too much, it’s not you anymore, it’s them. Keep raising with partners that you need help cos you are underwater and can’t meet all the deadlines. In writing. That’s what I did and do. In my old firm they didn’t care most of the time and were also not too particular about artificial deadlines missed. In the new firm they actually care and add help or say it’s ok to miss for a bit 😉. I’m in corporate, so 90% of deadlines are fake.
