Trouble networking virtually; I started recently, 3 months ago. I am not sure how projects/internal moves work but I was wondering if anyone has advice on networking virtually? I am finding it tricky because I don't know anyone apart from my team & I can't view Talent Marketplace because I am on a billable project, not sure how long it will go. I enjoy my work and not looking to move just yet, I wanted to see what else is out there and looking for opportunities to network with more people.
So we hired our own doctor to be on a firm wide WebEx about how COVID is ok. When pushed on whether the Dr would travel, he says “No.” LOL @ the idiocy of my firm.

Moms, I am 14 weeks pregnant. At KPMG, the new year starts in October and basically by spring of the following year, so April 2021, is when they put people up for promotion for the following year. My goal is to make it on that promo list in April 2021 - But thats when I am due. So my counselor requested I set up some meetings to "put together a maternity transition plan (if any)" Just had the first one, a month and a half out from my Mat, and while I was expecting some kind of supportive "Hey let's get everything prepped for you to go!", it was just him going "Oh you've discussed the plan with your team & have a meeting to formalize it next week? What does that mean? You don't have anything written down!? Well that's not enough" Feeling very uncomfy after it.

I didn’t list current job on background report. Will it pop up via Sterling? I am currently in between jobs (not at Google) and took a quick side job as a secretary. It’s not relevant to my new role at all and i forgot to include it in my background report. Would this be uncovered and grounds for revoked offer? Only worked for a couple months.
Hi everyone. I interviewed for a sales role at Amazon. I was told the role was an L6 and I can stay based in Chicago. Well, the recruiter emailed me today saying the hiring team felt I was better suited for an L5 role (estimated total comp is $140K-$150K) and I would have to move to Seattle. They'll send me an offer if that works. Any advice or opinions on how to negotiate? For context, I gave a desired salary range of $280K-$310K since this was an L6 role, and my current TC at P&G is $200K.
