Same thing for when her parents decide to stop by and I'm at her place, I have to leave immediately. Is it a red flag or is it still too early?

I knowingly got married to a person with some psychological problem. my initial assumption was that she’d get better after leaving her parent’s toxic home. However she turned worst. She’d frequently/randomly become abusive and violent. She refused seeing doc.

SO and I are moving from a 1BD into a 2BD for more space. If we plan to have kids - what were some important criteria / nice to have that you looked for in a place? Our 1BD is close to 800 sq ft in Manhattan.

So my bipolar dad got declined for a mortgage because disability gets shut off in < 3 years when he turns 65. So now he wants me to co-sign for him. Lateraled as a third year from a firm where I was usually the junior person on teams to a firm where I’m fully treated as a midlevel. I am a junior biglaw lit associate who is extremely extroverted. Unfortunately, I’m realizing that so far litigation hasn’t been as great for extroverts as advertised. Is this just the nature of being a junior attorney in any practice anywhere? Are there specific specialties within litigation that extroverts particularly enjoy? I generally like what I do but working crazy hours in mostly isolation doesn’t seem sustainable long term for my personality type.

Decision - I was out the door of my nationwide ins dfense firm. Was going to top local firm with a lot more clout where everything would be private pay and I’d be more on bigger exposure cases. However, my firm outmatched the new firm, made a much better bonus structure, and said I could do more work with their complex bus lit group. I’d still likely do about 50 percent ins defense but I really like the partners I work for, and I handle own cases/take depos, and get autonomy. Am I right to stay?
