Does signing an offer letter and re sending it to the Employer create any binding with the Employer
I have an offer with CITI which I have signed and sent it back to them. And I have an interview scheduled with Luxoft next week. And my LWD is Oct 21. In case I clear my interview and get selected at luxoft and i am happy with the project that I am going to get, is it OK for me to communicate to CITI at the 11th hour that I won't be joining them.
Awaiting offer from Tech mahindra

I have been given an opportunity to take on a Project Coordinator role at my existing company (IT MSP) I'll basically be developing the role at our company. Any advice? How to keep track of various happenings for the many projects we'll have going on at one time? I recently got 22 computers and peripherals etc sorted out for one brand new client, 25 for another with added software preps, and am working through another 24 for another existing client, we'll be physically moving another client...
Should I use 4:3 or 16:9 for my ppts?
Client wants to use 4:3 and I think they are insane.
Need some help finding a new social media agency for my client. Which social-first agencies are doing the best work?
Hi Accenture people, got offer today, asked HR about project, she mentioned it will be mapped on first day itself and will be connected with project manager. I told her i need details about the project and she said she will talk to project manager and get back to me tommorrow. Everyone says we have to search project after joining only. So any idea if this scenario can happen? Anyone got to know project details before joining? Please share ur views.
Recently started working with a new client, and it feels like they are constantly looking for reporting that is “after the fact”, vs using it to inform new business decisions prior to them being made. The client has an appetite to better use their data though - I am looking for any ideas and best practices to transition from reporting to data that helps build a roadmap. TYIA!
Need some thoughts. (Shows analyst on FB, but I've since been promoted). Basically I have had all amazing reviews since at my firm. Currently on a project where I am feeling super burnt out and as a result im not taking initiative and therefore performing poorly. I believe my next review will be quite poor. Does anyone have any advice on managing this / perspectives I should have? I am pretty worried that I will get fired and if that happens idek what I would do.
Could use some help with an awkward dynamic.
My Dept has been tapped to help another dept promote a DEI study. The client dept has hired a consultant in this area. The challenges I see with this consultant's work style:
-micromanaging things outside her area
-steering things toward her own promotion over our company's agenda
-people in my dept (mostly white) are visibly uncomfortable and reluctant to interrupt or contradict her (black woman)
As someone who is more reserved, not verbose/verbal, more of an observer and writer —
which teams/departments should one look at for designer roles within product/ux that doesn't have client presentation/leading client relationship responsibilities?
Are there any? Do those exist?
Been working as a contractor lately and just got off a call where my client ended our relationship. He is in the financial services industry and has a very toxic and aggressive communication style. He technically owes me money but I decided not to ask for it because I was honestly intimidated by his ability to go super negative very quick. Feeling beaten down and wondering if I even belong in the corporate world. Hope and words of encouragement would be most welcome right now. 😢
Anyone ever work with a male surgeon who treats you (M or F) like a nurse / surgical service tech on a project? Had a bad experience and am told this is par for the course working with surgeons.
For Ambassador Elites on the board.
I am Titanium for life, but have never reached Ambassador in a single year. I have run the numbers for this year and I will be 2 nights short by mid December. My project is shutting down then until January.
Is it worth it to get the two more nights?
What benefits have you observed between Titanium and Ambassador?
I have a 10-month long assignment for a small start up. I’m wondering what the best way is to bill: hourly, project, or retainer? It’s up to me to decide.
Anyone in Private Client Services/T&E that can speak to how billable requirements are approached in BL for that practice area? Often hear billables are harder to come by than in, say, M&A or Lit. Is there a greater understanding for failure to hit hours in this area? Potentially making the move from boutique firm where minimum has been 1700 (but 165 hour months are common). Offers have been from Am Law 50-100s requiring 1900 and 1950. Don’t wanna accept just to get recession fired. Thanks.
I am an operations executive and I am looking for leadership opportunities within an operational or implementation team. I recently applied for a role and was turned down because I do not have project management skills. Do y’all have any advice as I look for other opportunities?

Hello , I have a offer from TCS and the location of project is Chennai and Kochi however I have asked for Pune location and they have provided it in offer letter. So can I work in from Pune or they would ask for relocation after joining?
How do you deal with micromanagement? I literally have a manager who is driving me insane. Constantly emailing me or pinging me, even while I'm on client meetings... If I don't respond immediately, my manager creates an escalation with senior directors and schedules a mandatory meeting to follow up on why I'm not responding in a timely manner. Hence, that I'm managing over 23 projects.
Jokes on The Onion, we don't even have moving walkways at LAX.
My friends are trying to plan a cruise for May of 2022 but with all the COVID cases rising I kinda feel uncomfortable. I mean I still go to bars and stuff but if I catch it I can quarantine at home rather than a small ass room on the cruise. Would you all be comfortable going on a cruise?
Sharing my story: I carry an abnormal gene in which me and my wife's first child was affected. We decided with our second child to use IVF. We started our journey in January 2021 and my wife went through 4 IVF cycles using my sperm in a 9 month span (her choice). We decided after the 4th round failed to go a different route and use sperm donation to rid us of the gene. During 2022, she went through 4 rounds of IUI and finally got one that stuck. She is now 14 weeks pregnant and due in April 😊

So, I’m freelancing for this new client for about 5 hrs/week. Ive never actually made a contract or sent an invoice (I’ll be using a template for this). Other clients I’ve freelanced with usually just sent the contract from their end with a 1099.
