Im currently at 70K and due for promotion. Is 95K too much to expect when being promoted to Account Supervisor internally? (FYI it’s Pharma)
So I made a job update (promotion) on my LinkedIn profile and made sure to also enable 'Share with Network' but why isn't my network being informed of the good news through notifications. Is there some sort of delay or bug going on with LinkedIn? HELP
Up for promotion to manager, have an offer to leave Big 4 for a 35% pay bump. Would you try to negotiate if you know others who have jumped to the same company for 15% more?
Same responsibilities, higher expectations, and lower pay than my peer group but I’m told that I’m the future... Not sure how to approach ... should I raise with HR or my boss?
Any single moms who raised boys? My first kid, I grew up as an only child with no brother, and really clueless as to how to raise a boy. I’d have an easier time with a girl since I kinda know how
Prepping to ask for a raise as a female strategist in Toronto with 8 years industry experience. Making $85K with decent benefits and vacation. Any suggestions on what to ask for and how to ask?
Thoughts on giving yourself a promotion to a CD when you start freelancing if you where long due for a promotion anyway?
Do I take this offer for 100% raise? Knowing I may slip in to depression. I’m the happiest I’ve been in the last 2-4 years. My only complaint is my current role is boring but (cont)...
I was asked to take on formal supervisor duties without a promotion or raise for at least 1 year. Tips on how to negotiate this?
Anyone recently internally transfer from audit to FDD? Just made Senior and haven’t gotten my raise yet so curious what transfers get, I’m sure it’ll be way less than external hires but the anticipation is killing me.
Has anyone at Deloitte gotten a mid-year promotion because year end was underwhelming due to being at top end of pay band two years in a row? C to SC
What is the path to a GC for a senior associate on a TN? I’ve been with my firm since college (2 years) - firm policy is that they initiate the process after a two year tenure (and provided you are senior associate rank, at minimum). Will I be able to pass the PERM evaluation? If not, would things get easier with a subsequent promotion? Or would it be best to lateral to a new firm and start the process there? Sorry, super green when it comes to this
Gah I secretly hate work events that are "casual" dress (in this case chicago promotion day) I never know what to wear. Why can't everything just be business casual it keeps things simple 😬
Is "senior associate" a real promotion or just a hold over to get you to stay longer? Do you get a pay raise with it?
What yearly raise and bonus do you expect with 1 or/and 2 rating, consultant level at D ..
Hi Ladies, What are some ways you’ve positioned yourself to obtain a promotion? Just looking for examples if you have any❤️

55K / 10 years experience (5 in-house / 5 agency) / F / New England One thing lead to another and I’m 3 years overdue for a pay raise and title bump. Will I ever catch up?
What is the compensation offered by Deloitte in ISB during campus recruitment at consultant level?
Starting a new job in September. If the new company matches 100% of 401k up to 5%, does that mean a max of 5% of the salary I’ll make between September and December, or would it be 5% of my full salary, so that if i contribute at 20% or so, I can get 5% of the full, yearly salary in just those 4 months? Thank you!
Thoughts on starting a mileage run bowl? I’m traveling considerably less this year for work but don’t want to lose EP on American..
Has anyone left for a local firm and bounced back to top 10/big 4 or top 10? I've been interested in working at a local firm for some time, have an opportunity, but want the opportunity to get back to something larger if I learn I hate it.
If your client is 3/31 year end but books investments at NAV using the 12/31 market value adjusting for cash flows, what’s the best way to approach this? They don’t book 3/31 because they don’t get the numbers in time. Curious what other people do

Stayed at a Marriott last week. Booked using United points (had a bunch I needed to use). Will I get points or the nights for the stay?
I am a finance consultant at Wells Fargo who graduated May of 2019. Have two years of experience in the finance industry and am looking to make the switch to IB, preferably in NYC. Feeling like my firm has a very outdated parental leave policy (and none of the women partners have children)! What is the parental leave policy at your firm? Please include: (1) size of firm; (2) location of firm (city, state); (3) how many paid weeks off from firm (not state/fed benefits); (4) other policies such as ramp up/down time, etc.
I’m a new manager and am trying to get off a client. Need guidance if I should do it. I work with a very nice senior manager who is up for partner. She gave me a very decent review. The client is horrible though. Piecemeal review comments, constant updates workpapers and last minute changes. The only good thing is working with this senior manager. She is also my counselor. I asked her to get off of this account, and she said the firm probably won’t allow it. I have another senior manager I work
For the people who know SFO, I made it from gate 89 to security and back in eight minutes (left my phone at security- very long story). Was wearing an Equinox shirt-would have made a great commercial!
Is there just not a lot going on this week? I've been trying to get some PD work this week since on the bench and haven't been able to get anything.

Hey 🐠! So I am interviewing with a couple of firms (various stages) and I just found out I am probably going to have surgery. The recovery is 6-8 weeks of no flying. Anyone know if firms will be
For over 15 years I held customer support roles in a variety of industries. At the same time developing skills in other areas; such as being ordained as a Zen priest and receiving an Integral Coach certification. After being laid off in May, I decided to pursue my coaching business full time. My question is, for those who have sought out coaching, which area of your life did you focus on first and why?
I’m considering applying for remote legal admin positions in addition to my current role (also remote, with flexible schedule). Do we foresee any issues with working two remote jobs, assuming no conflicts? How could I go about talking about my current role, if asked? It would be nice to have an extra income source, and since I work from home, I don’t see the time being an issue.
UPDATE FROM PREVIOUS POST: I was offered a ~10% jump to go from B4 to top 10 acct firm transaction services with no signing bonus. Tf? The jump doesn’t include my B4 raise coming in like a month. So basically no jump considering everything and no signing bonus to go from audit to FDD. Kinda disappointed but oh well can always keep auditing.. is it even worth trying to negotiate up? I was hoping for at least 20% increase on top of my upcoming raise
