As gracefully as possible. But we wfh now so we can cry alone in the bathroom whenever we need to. Honestly I wake up every day and tell myself I’m a freelancer and I’m only here for a little while. That’s been working for about nine months now. Mostly working. The truth is you have to get out, as do I, but just disinvest yourself from the work. Do your job as best you can in a way that makes it as easy on you as possible. Because you’re probably not trying to stay there, so if they want to make bad work / bad decisions how much energy do you want to spend fighting them?

I’m staff, too. Medium sized company so I can probably lay low more often than you get to. One day at a time, if they’re shitty to you that’s on them, not you. We’ll get out. We just stay sane until then.
