does the money in this profession (i.e. tax) come with time? it’s been a hard few years and sometimes i feel foolish for choosing this. at least knowing long term i can one day make low to mid 100s may make it worthwhile

Happy Wednesday! I am trying to plan with our AP and climate lead on what we can do in distance learning as a school wide event. I suggested we still host our multicultural club assemblies on zoom for the school. Anyone have experience with zoom assemblies to promote a positive climate in DL? Thanks!

Hello all, I would like some insight. I work for a small immigration firm and I focus mostly on U-visas and waivers. I get paid 22/hr currently. I know it’s on the low end but I have stayed because of the immense flexibility as I have two little ones. However, the attorney recently spoke to me about wanting to make me his primary paralegal, and wants me to start training on court and asylum cases, on top of what I already do. I haven’t explicitly accepted yet but I would like some advice for…

Do you have any idea how many days of notice period you have to serve if you resign in the last month of probation period? Will it be 1 month ( which is applicable during probation) or it will be 3 months ( which is applicable post probation). @TCS @Infosys @IBM @Wipro @Acceture

I have been approached with an opportunity at JP Morgan Chase for their private client advisor role. The book is about 30M all in. I am currently an experienced hybrid asset manager wholesaler and have experience in advising as well. Curious about the opportunity with JPM and if it’s worth it. I currently make about 160k and if JPM would give me a high draw for the first 3 years to build, and if it’s feasible to sustain that 160+ there.

I am interested in moving to another state and realized that this state has one of the most restrictive reciprocity rules in the country. I've passed multiple bar exams. However, I won't get any credit for time I worked in CA because CA isn't reciprocal. I swore I'd never take another bar after taking CA - and now I have to take another exam if we move. I worked in big law in CA for two years and get no credit! Yet the exam has been waived for new grads for COVID. It sure limits our move.
