Has anyone ever dealt with a S.O who ignores you for days after an argument and how did you deal with it? Given that its also a long distance relationship its becoming very hard to deal with and its not the first time this has happened. I feel abandoned when he does this and given his age, I don’t expect this passive aggressive behavior from a grown man.It seems in his eyes n through his words, he is never at fault. How do I handle this behavior? 30F with 45M S.O, together for 3yrs.

First, I have never heard any man I have worked with in my 15 years in PA ever make such a stupid statement. A man can just as easily make a false allegation of harrassment against a woman. It's really simple - just keep your hands to yourself and don't make sexual advances towards your co-workers.

I actually addressed with a supervisor of mine that this causes a scenario where men are not mentoring women, and can further disadvantage our promotion potential. I made a pretty strong argument that I expected to grab a beer after work when on client visits and sit around and shoot the breeze as any of the guys would, since that tends to be when the real concessions occur. You just have to advocate for yourself and be straightforward about your expectations of equal treatment.
