Some things I can think of are-
Download your last pay stub or two
Move any personal data out of your laptop
Complete any open work before your last day
Make notes of the type of clients etc you had in case you need to refer back to certain FS etc
1. All your performance review data. PDF it and email the PDF to your personal email address. Probably best to send it FROM your personal email address (e.g., gmail) to yourself so there is no Firm-email-traffic trail.
2. Same for your CPE History.
3. Export all your email contacts to .cvf or whatever format you can. Then email the file to your personal email address as above.
4. Put an out of office assistant up. Your email address will likely be shut down the last day you're with the firm, but maybe not. So perhaps the out of office reply will continue to be sent to those who email you after you leave.
5. Print out all the contact information and phone numbers of your Benefits plans. Health, dental, life insurance, 401k, HSA/FSA (spending accounts), etc.
6. Make sure to update your contact information (before leaving) with all your benefits (401k, spending accounts) to your non-work personal email address.
7. Go to your firm's training/webcast notification website and update your email address to your personal address. Might be able to take advantage of some free training post-leaving the firm. Like if you have PLI (for CLEs).
8. Email your internet favorites file to your personal email.
9. Make sure that you email all your personal files to yourself and then delete them from your laptop.
10. Download windows washer (free version) and run it before turning in your laptop.
11. Take an inventory of all the apps/programs you installed (printer drivers for your home printer, for example) so you know what programs to reinstall when you get your new computer at your new job.
12. iTtunes media library.
13. When you draft your farewell email, make sure to CC your non-work email address. If you send the email without using BCC: this will give you (in your personal email address) the names and email addresses of all the folks you felt close enough to that you included them on the email. :-). If you use BCC, then just copy and paste all the email addresses into a new email to yourself (in your personal email). When you paste into the body/text of the email, it will give you both the names and email addresses.
