Folks I lead the global IT strategy team for a F50 organization based out of Dallas and we will soon have an opening for a strategy consultant in the team. Want someone with 2 to 3 years of core strategy consulting skills. Role based out of Dallas. Please DM me of interested. Cheers..!
I have been in the industry for ~ 20 years, career slowed down when I went part time to raise a family and care for aging parents and when I moved to Milwaukee, I took a demotion. I was part of Covid layoffs and have been applying for an Account Director role. When I looked on LinkedIn, the company has a lot of young people at VP level. How do I negotiate for that after the fact? What does VP mean at your company?
Senior associate role vs senior consultant (IT audit). If you are offered a Sr. Associate role within a big financial institution and you would be a Sr. Consultant in your present firm, what to do?
Weighing a Consultant job offer from Appian and was wondering if anyone had any feedback on them? Mainly interested in what type of future career flexibility you’d have after this role.
Would a hiring manager answer your thank you email after a final interview saying that the recruiter would be in touch about “next steps shortly” if you didn’t get the job??
How do you verify whether your SOW allows you to exit to client during an engagement? I’m in conversation with a client recruiter ho told me they need to verify if I’m eligible kinda poopy marketing goopy
Had a great meeting with a director about an open role, everything seemed well, two days later ask about interviews, sorry the role has been filled.
I’m surprised so many of you want to “exit to FAANG” - I find Facebook/Amazon/Google to be pretty despicable companies - Apple has questionable moral standards when it comes to making their products, Netflix seems like the best of the bunch.
My last agency hired back a ton of the people who were laid off (thankfully I landed a new gig, would not go back to that place). They decided to bring back 10/19 that were laid off. Unfortunately, they are notorious for doing this on multiple occasions. What are your thoughts on hiring back those you let go? And to clarify as a group we were let go not furloughed.
Exit opportunities- Apple, Amazon or American airlines? The first two are operations related roles and last one is corporate strategy. Salary is a bit higher in tech but cost of living is higher in CA
If you were recently laid off or looking for a new position: we are hiring for two management consultant professionals with at least 5 years client facing experience. Please DM me if interested—thanks!
As a senior 3 in risk with 8 years of experience combining industry, what exit ops could I possibly consider and which companies?
Any FSO staff or senior 1’s/2’s currently looking for an opening? Have a travel role doing some basic project work supporting a team of 12 or so. Let me know if you’re free!

How do you go about reaching out to a creative director on linkedin? Is it okay to ask for a portfolio review, even if you’re clearly reaching out because they’re hiring?

Hand written note from client saying thank you! Reason/purpose I keep doing what I am doing for 9+ years...help people be successful at their jobs.
I’m being told my 4+ years of experience isn’t enough for a junior level position. I held a junior level role at my previous agency for 3.5 years, so this is confusing. My resume highlights my experience in detail, and my portfolio features campaigns I’ve single handedly worked on for major brands. Advice for making myself stand out amongst the others?
I got laid off 6 months ago. Next week I finally start a new in-house job in the media industry. Looking back, I’m pretty sure I walked the plank off a sinking ship. But I’ll miss you crazy fishes 😘
Hi all! Similar to a lot of people I’m considering moving to a small city with a lower cost of living for the next few months. I’m currently based in NYC and my salary reflects that. Any considerations I should keep in mind and be prepared for when I bring this up to leadership?
When I started, HR told me I was making the maximum salary for my position. Would they ever lie? And to all the CDs out there who will laugh at my naïveté... spare me.
Does anybody know about Highmark Health in Pittsburgh? What is the culture like? Why are there so many search firms that recruit for them?
Will expressing that a certain school is my top choice and I plan to accept if I get in during the interview help my chances or come off weird?
Is it noteworthy to have worked in the creative industry for 23 years -18 in advertising, without ever being fired or laid-off? Are there medals or gold watches for that?

Nanny question - we provide 2 weeks PTO and 5 days sick time per year. If the nanny doesn’t take PTO or sick time, do you pay this as extra? Or do we request that she must use it? Just realized we did not have this specified...
