What would you do if a co-worker refused to quarantine and stay home from work? My co-worker’s spouse is actively positive for COVID and my co-worker will not stay home. The person says they “tested negative” (no idea if they’ve repeated the test). Their direct boss and the director have told them to stay home, but the supervisors are out of town. I got tested and quarantined until I got my results (negative), but the co-worker continues to come in. I guess I’ll just WFH until further notice??

For those with company equity or unit incentive programs, is it common to forfeit vested equity upon voluntary departure? Explained as a “retention tool” but essentially held captive by a payout since the contract says equity doesn’t fully vest at 100% until the company is resold. If I quit at any time before a sale date, I lose all of the equity that has already vested. This was offered to a few employees in leadership but feels like not that great of a deal to me. Is this normal?
