Yeah I miss it. I’m definitely less tired because I’m not traveling or commuting, but I would rather be a bit tired and have camaraderie than sit at home all day

Idk, I used to think this but now I have anxiety that we have to go back to the office soon. I’ve really enjoyed spending more time with my spouse and having more flexibility. Obviously there are things I don’t like, but I am going to be a bit sad when I have to travel again.

Confession - I don't want to go back to office. I'm happy working from home and find no solid reason in stepping back. I hope the flexi work culture allows permanent WFH - I don't have a "good enough" reason, but I don't want to go (isn't this good enough?) It's been 1.5 years now, too comfortable to step out from my PJs to jeans.

Apartment life question - How important has having extra space become to you bc of WFH? I’m considering moving to a 2-bed apt bc I’m afraid if a partial or full remote work model persists, living in a 1-bed will drive me crazy. Not sure the luxury of space is worth the added cost though. Anyone else thought about this?

I went back to the office this month (3/4 days per week) and it’s been a positive experience. Plus it seems that some partners who are going in appreciated it. But the office is a 15 min drive away for me. Some people need to commute an hour plus to be there. Will they be at a disadvantage if they actually try to take advantage of hybrid WFH in the future?

After speaking with a friend who’s a CFP, he suggested I contribute only to the After-Tax, but I wanted to validate that advice here. If it helps I’m 24 and my current base is around 110k.
