I really like where I work. Idk if I’d say love, but coming off the heels of an agency where I was regularly doing 60+ hr weeks for a CEO who was a self important douche - to now working a regular 40 hr week for a guy who is humble and thoughtful, is a huge difference. It’s not as creatively inspiring or challenging, but the work is good, the clients are good, the team is nice, and sleeping is wonderful
Care to share where?
I love my job. Is it perfect? Of course not. But I constantly remind myself that we come up with funny TV commercials for a living. Sure, there’s the dirty work, the painful work. But you write something on paper and possibly millions of people smirk at it? Holy hell, that’s amazing. And aside from painful clients, the majority of our job is to sit around and talk to people we (hopefully) like for 10+ hours a day. Yes, getting ideas killed sucks. Clients can suck. But go shadow one of your lawyer or accountant friends for a day, then you’ll realize how lucky you are for having a job like this. Also....how lucky you are for having a job in general. You’re not unemployed. You’re not making minimum wage. And your job is to be clever. It’s fucking unbelievable.
Same. Love it!
JKR is a fantastic place to work: great people, great clients, great work, generous benefits and culture.
I had a job interview this week for a corporate strategist position. It was a solid reminder how much I love my job! Being on this ugly corporate campus, meeting with pretentious and dull people, and being forced to change out of my jeans and flip-flops for the interview was a solid reminder of the joys of agency life. I have an awesome team that laughs together and respects each other. My office is full of cool collaborative meeting spaces, free snacks and drinks, a HR director that treats us like family, and plenty of agency outings and happy hours. It’s good to be on the agency side of marketing!
I love my agency - we have leaders who take the time to listen to and respect the ideas of everyone from assistants on up. They recognize and reward hard work and are willing to let people take chances. They’re super accommodating and always provide thoughtful feedback rather than dismissing something without an explanation.
I don’t love everything about my agency. But I feel like I have some ability to influence change and I absolutely love my team. They rock!
Been freelancing at a really lovely place. My partner is so sweet, my gcd o work directly with is caring and our producer is protective of our time as a team and you have to go through them if you want anything from us. Normally not treated so well as a freelancer but also in a full time position.

I love what I do (ACD/copy) and I love the agency that lets me do it. Very happy here.
Same
I don’t love my agency, but I love most of the work I’ve gotten to do here. I’ve been a part of some truly phenomenal, inspiring pitches (including the one I’m on right now), worked with ridiculously smart people, and learned more in 2 years here than I could’ve ever hoped.
