Attrition+economic slowdown and tech layoffs, mixed bag it seems. What are your opinions on this ? Will there be good hike next season or any talent retention steps to be taken here? Deloitte Deloitte USI
Hi Sharks, I had an interview with Tata Consultancy today and cleared the TAG round by answering all their questions. So here my query is, based on my performance will they offer me a hike of 100% or more from my CCTC, because this role is too relevant to my domain and technical knowledge so that I don't wanna miss out on this.
CCTC - 6LPA
YOE - 5

I wish people would be more honest when posting about comp.
I believe this is my first time seeing someone from Accenture say their comp is under six figures.
Good for you OP, nice pay adjustment.
What will be the in-hand salary for 7.82k fixed compensation @Accenture
Considering Senior Analyst at Accenture is 1 above entry level, I don't think being under 100k is necessarily a surprise. Especially not knowing the location. But like most have said, moving around is the fastest way to make a drastically change in salary. Moving too much will eventually look bad but could be taken advantage of for your own benefit if done right. Don't look for a company to take care of you, take care of yourself.
I bet whole bunch of Kpmg-ers say the same! It’s doesn’t matter kid! They are all the same and it’s the name of the game.

PM1 is right, you always make more jumping around
2 YOE getting ratioed lol
the worse the firm, the higher they have to pay to attract talent
Horrendous logic and really only example of this is in investment banking where EBs pay more than BBs. And even in that situation, EBs aren't worse, they only have weaker brand name.
Any company that leverages their brand to underpay employees is trash and should be a massive red flag to prospective employees.
I have 2 YOE exactly and am at 130k, not sure what your point is
At which level did you start. If you start as analyst 100% you're not above 100k after 2 years. You start with something around 70k
Almost always make more moving than being loyal. It’s part of the economics for employees. Doesn’t make sense in the long run as hiring people costs more than keeping people but I guess taking advantage of people saves more money than keeping them long term
Weird I left EY for a senior analyst position at Accenture for 100k.
I started as a role equivalent to sr analyst in ibm at 48k and worked there for 2 years. I was making around 60k when I left IBM for Accenture. As a L9 I make 110k.
Making a blanket statement that one company cares and the other company doesn’t, is not entirely accurate. It depends on each person and their experience at that point of them.
Your ability to negotiate and make right moves ultimately play a bigger role in getting what you want than expecting a company to drive themselves to satisfy you.
So is 110k I inhand or gross fixed pay
80k? Either you were LCOL or federal so don't think this is a 1:1 comparison either. Accenture proper is paying way more than what you were making lol
What does LCOL stand for?
I get $81k as a senior analyst living in Los Angeles! Ive been at Accenture for two years as well and I have a few years of prior working experience. That salary jump is insane! Congrats :)
May be OP got 80k two years ago! Would have been 122k now.
PS: Kid, I hope you don’t type emails like this message. You would be at 122k for few years!
Follow the money for sure, but as a Sr Analyst in Accenture I was making 96k.
Where you in Tech or Consulting?
Where are you based? Surely these aren’t London salaries
ACN Ldn starting salary base is 33.5k, plus 10k onboarding bonus. Welp.
Accenture is definitely a low payer. But, they have 100% 401k match upto 6% of your base. They have a bad concept called as Global Career Program ie. GCP with low LCR. Once they find people from low cost countries like India, they hire them as H1B and roll off the US Citizens and Green Card holders to the bench and finally screw up US Citizens and Green Card holders in performance review, most of the times lay off them as theybhave obviously less utilization....
Wel yeah.. you didn’t get promoted to consultant. Have you tried doing that to raise comp?
Let him be, he will a boomerang soon! I bet he stop reading our comments since we don’t encourage him!
