If you want leave it will take longer and your odds will be as well, with fewer people who know you. This is said knowing nothing about where you are in your journey. Are you a manager? SM? Director? Growing market? Aging leadership? Impossible to help without more details, including why you think you’re under market. Beware the come in at a high level but top out on raises because your at the high end of the bar trick.

Firms are losing talent because of this

Before you make a choice to go, have a conversation with your talent group leader and express your concerns. No guarantee, but always worth a conversation.

I’ve had the chat a couple months ago and am waiting on my YE comp call next week. It was more focused on my value, and I didn’t mention the external opp as I didn’t want to twist my talent leader/mentor’s arm. 😔

This is exactly why I am leaving...for double my current comp.

What kind of comp is bad??? How are you getting double?

What level are ya? Struggling with the same thoughts as a homegrown Sr Mgr. I wish the company would just pay more but they won’t budge.

Similar situation. But trying to decide on Moving from consulting to consulting for a 25% raise

It's been around 14 weeks since I filed my tax returns along with a new ITIN application for my wife through an in person appointment at the local Chicago office. My profile is still not available on the "Where's my refund" page. Called the ITIN helpline couple weeks back and they said neither application was in the system yet and this could be due to covid processing delays. Anyone else facing lengthy delays for ITIN / tax refunds. Thanks!
