Biggest Pet peeve: when I tell the partner there isn’t anything on the issue he wants me to research (after 4 hours of looking) and they tell me to try something else that I thought to search for 3 hours ago. Treat me like an adult and if I say it’s not there, it’s not there.
A friend of mine quit before 3 years of bond period but she did not sign any bond during her induction. But now they are not giving her experience letter and they have sent a notice. When asked for the bond agreement, the company is not sending her that(which is because they dont have any bond agreement with her signature on it). They are demanding 5L which is not at all worth it. So, how can she tackle this situation. Any advice appreciated.
What are some good books to read if I want to learn how to better show up for the team as a manager?
Europeans and their hashish. Gee whiz.
Industry benchmarks: what is your go to source for benchmarks for stuff like brand awareness, ad recall, brand lift etc?
I made it to the final round of a recruitment process for a Content Marketing Manager position at a big multinational company in the food industry. I now found out they interviewed another candidate and are going to take the next few days to make their final decision. It's just down to thr 2 of us. What is something creative I can do to stand out at this stage? Would be happy to hear your personal stories too or just your general advice. Thanks!
Hi All, What are the chances of an offer getting on hold at HCL after the compensation plan was shared? I was intimated by the director during an interview that he informed the HR to roll out me the offer. It's been 3+ weeks now since I have received the compensation plan and no response from the HR even if I call as well.

Does Cognizant provide health insurance cover for parents as well alongwith wife and kids?
And how much ? Do I need to pay anything extra or its part of the default insurance provided
Technical co-founder looking for business or sales co-founder. Still at brainstorming stage, but the goal is to create something that can be done as a side gig initially until there's enough traction to go fulltime. It should be bootstrappable with mostly sweat equity and funding is to be avoided and treated as a last resort.
If you are aligned with this, drop me a line.

2nd year here: How many breaks do you take throughout the day? I’ve been trying to plow through my days to get my billables in and still have some time left over for myself but I’m wondering how much it’s costing me performance wise.
It’s funny ‘cause it’s true.
Excel gurus I need help ASAP! Is there a way to convert a process flow into a checklist in excel? The main confusion I’m having is how to take the diamonds of the process flow and based on the response convert that into a checklist.

The only female leaders I’ve had have been fired within 6 months of me being at the company, or left within a week of me being hired.
I’ve checked out Pavilion as a potential place for additional leadership and mentorship, but I feel that I may be stuck in an endless loop of male leaders. To be very clear, I’ve built great relationships with some of my male bosses, but I do wonder if I’m missing something without the potential differentiating perspective.
If one more male apologizes or tells the women in the room to cover their ears just before they swear..

Dating in NYC is really bringing me down. Considering leaving for greener pastures.
What other cities are better for dating and still have a decently fast pace of life/job market? Chicago? SF?

Have you ever felt certain biased behaviour towards you from your reporting manager over team call or simply ignoring your messages and you don’t even know the reason for it?
Hello ladies! I'm currently on the hunt for a new job! While I'm job hunting I'm finding it very hard to not impulsively quit. I wake up everyday and say I hate my job. Any tips on how to survive this limbo until I find a new happier job.
Negotiated salary for 6% higher than what I was offered and now super paranoid that the company might rescind the verbal offer. The recruiter just responded, ‘Hmm.... Let me talk to the team’ after I told him the number I had in my mind. Am I just overthinking?
Can I please get some likes so I can DM people? I would love to connect with someone about a potential role but I don't have the likes!!! Lol thanks ladies :)

Hello 👋 I'm seeking input on some interview questions for a Sr. Project Manager role in healthcare IT that you had wished you had prepared more for. I've gone onto Google but curious what you all have encountered. I've not had a formal PM career but have transferable skills, enough so that I made it to my 2nd round of interviews. It will be with PMs and IT leaders.
Thank you and have a great day!
Hello, All! I'm looking for recommendations on inspirational content for women leaders. I follow TEDWomen, many podcasts, and the Women's Conference among other sources. I'd love to hear a fresh perspective on business, trends, tech, marketing, equality in the workforce, etc. I'd love to learn something new. I'm at the VP level and have started a couple of companies, so nothing too junior, but open to many topics. Please share any speakers, books, webinars, or events that you may come across.
I work for a toxic company that doesn't seem to want to promote anyone on the legacy product or women in general. I haven't gotten a title change in years but I do the work of a Sr. Manager. None of us on legacy are allowed to start work on the new system which means everyone gets promoted around us. Has anyone else worked for a company that kept you down but you were able to get hired for a role seemingly much higher than the one you have now?
Any WIT in Boston? I'm interviewing for a really exciting opportunity in downtown and would be relocating there after it's safe. Would love to hear about any groups or resources!
Bonus points for intersectionality and welcoming of LGBT individuals (I'm a gender non-conforming butch lesbian). Bonus bonus points for a group that isn't all white.
Also where should I be looking to live? I heard Boston has a lot of racism issues and is very segregated...

A previous employer reached out and offered me a Senior Product Designer role with a 40% increase base salary. I am considering this, as I have been feeling under utilized at my current role + dealing with of uncertainty lately. But I would be forfeiting a lot of RSUs if I leave. I am in the middle of my vesting period (2/4 yrs), and this year alone would have 256 shares vesting (~$500 share price). The new role will come with shares, but at a small share price. Anyone had similar experience?
Has anyone ever been told they had a chip on their shoulder or that they came across entitled when they really thought they were just being confident?

What's an SM? I'm presuming a manager of some sort, but nonetheless, I'd report it. Don't let a*holes get away with that crap.
Talk to another PPMD, I don’t know a single one that thinks that is Ok.
It is not okay. On any level. Relay to another PPMD and/or your HR manager. Document the hell out of it
I have been at Deloitte less than 2 years and I am bailing. Awful culture
I agree it can feel like the a**holes often win here, but we need to report them or they will keep winning. After 2 years of our whole team reporting this one guy to HR numerous times, they finally seem to be taking us seriously.
An entire team??? That’s horrible...that doesn’t make much sense to have to have an entire team to report 1 person before HR will actually do something...
