OP, the first thing is to be kind to yourself. Second, resting helps. (I had done the same as you a long time back. Kept myself too busy with office work) Take a day or 2 off. Sleep, eat well, disconnect from other things for a while. Go for a long walk, sit in a park with coffee, may be take a book along if you like reading. Declutter or reorganize your space, that helps sometimes in feeling better. If not family, are you able to reach out to a close friend or acquaintance who will listen to you. Being heard to, also helps

Have you used your COVID or sick days? Maybe a mental health day could help! I’m sorry you feel this way though. 2020 has been tough!

I’ve thought about it but honestly work has been such a good distraction. I’m worried idle time will make me get in my head :(

This. 👆I’m feeling the same way and I’m taking the day off tomorrow. I’m taking care of one personal thing and then making it completely unstructured. We’re all running from meeting to meeting. Structure is good but we all need a break. Take it before you break down. Hugs 🤗

Any current/Ex IBM please guide me to Opt In/Out of the IBM's Medical Insurance. To start of there is a co share of premium for a base sum insured of 3L which comes around 1790/- Then skipping the benefits for a second if I jump on to the claim part there is a Copay of 10-90. Employee will have to bear 10% of the claim and insurer will bear the other 90%. For dependents 20-80 Copay. Are the benefits are good enough to consider copay and subscribe ? Please Suggest.

I know we all love the work from home (or do we?) but does anyone actually miss traveling for their consulting engagements and all the fun that goes along with it? The late nights at the office then the bar and random hookups and excitement and all that? Sure it’s a grind but I think I actually miss it too. Maybe I just miss seeing people at work or seeing people at all. I wonder if we’ll ever get back to that.

I am am Asian woman. I started a discussion about how we could improve our diversity and inclusion efforts on my UX team. I offered a possible solution. Out of a team of 14, only 4 responded, 2 female in support, 2 male with lukewarm and hostile responses. The silence is deafening from the rest of the team (all male). I don't want to be here anymore. I attribute this to being in Utah, majority white. Is it like this everywhere? Or if I change jobs, will it be better?
