Just gonna name somethings I found helpful: Assortment of herbal teas, honey, cough drops, thermometer, lots of chicken broth and instant ramen for when I had no energy to cook.
C+ - was told not to take cough drops/suppressants. Sorry to be that guy

SO who is a physician recommends 5000mg of Vitamin C and 50mg of zinc a day. Yes, that’s 5 - 1000mg Vitamin C pills taken throughout the day. Then lots of soup and fluids.

Oh and Flonase, because he says it’s not worth freaking yourself out when it’s just allergies.
I have ginger ale, Tylenol (read that ibuprofen and advil make it worse, not better), soup, Ice packs (for my head) and other comfort items that I like/need when I'm sick. Anyone who is having daily deliveries needs to get their life together. Plan ahead, get it once, order if you run low. I am having my groceries delivered so I don't have to go in the store but I get them every two weeks or so. And I'm a minimalist.

I strongly recommend a good humidifier, thermometer and cough drops. For convenience get easy to make food and soups in case restaurants can’t deliver for some reason. Others have mentioned Tylenol, Mucinex, Theraflu. (I highly believe I had Covid, I was diagnosed with acute respiratory illness before the tests even made it to US. I had a severe dry cough for 2 weeks but no fever, I felt like I was going to cough out my organs).
No shit Sherlock - A2 you sound real smart and obviously they were prescribed, I.e. you decided I had a virus, the doc decided I may have a secondary bacterial infection, the fever dropped and I am much better (thanks for asking) so it goes without saying the doc was right ....... EY 1 asked how I treated my cough, not CoVid!!! Read a little it’s also why people are frigging stockpiling z-pacs because a secondary bacterial infection is one of the complications of both CoVid and the flu!

I live alone as well. I ensured I have enough rice, veggies, milk, pasta, pre-prepared pasta sauce, canned beans and canned purée, bread, butter, ginger and honey, fruits, eggs Basic spices: salt, pepper, chilli powder, pasta and curry powder, turmeric. Stock enough for 2-3 weeks so that u can use and avoid letting it go waste. From medicine stand point, brufen, paracetamol. Cooking - basic cooking is good enough. Like 2-3 ingredients based dishes Like pasta, rice curry, sandwiches, fried rice. Rotate so that you don’t get bored of cooking. Buy soup cans if you don’t know to prepare one. Buy the packets with all ingredients so that you get all items and then follow instruction to cook. EG- phad Thai, Thai Green Curry Hope some of this helps. Ps: I have corona symptoms, have been tested and awaiting report. All this prep helped me through till now to stay at home and rest.

If it’s mild symptoms, I would recommend getting what you can to remain hydrated.. broths/soups, Gatorade or pedialyte, etc. Also note I’ve heard ibuprofen could make it worse - but please fact check this.. news and advice is rapidly evolving

Get your basic spices & herbs (for cooking): salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, parsley are the basics. Depending on your culture and food preferences, you’ll want some more. For food: (assuming you eat meat) frozen chicken breasts, some beef to freeze, hot dogs if you like those for a quick meal, rice, canned beans, spinach & other greens - can do frozen or in the fridge so you can get your greens. I also always keep frozen fruits, some orange juice, and some fresh fruits in the house for smoothies (I’ll add local seasonal honey as well to help with allergies)

Same.
To add I have been traveling most of my life last 10 years and haven’t cooked meals other than breakfast. I am also a minimalist but someone told me they are getting something delivered from amazon almost everyday . I don’t understand what they would be getting .
