Speaking from experience, it can be a lot sharing a studio (especially if you or both of you WFH). Are you having mixed feelings about the studio aspect or living together in general?
This! Idk how big your studio is but even having friends stay with me for a few days can get a bit claustrophobic ( and I have a pretty spacious studio). Secondly studios don’t have another room and I think that couples need their space. So much harder to wfh, do other hobbies unless you live in a fancy building with a business center etc.
What are your mixed feelings? Can you pinpoint them? If it's because the place is too small, you can find a bigger place. If it's mixed feelings about him moving in / the relationship, tell him you are not comfortable moving in.
I had mixed feelings when my ex moved into my place. And the mixed feelings were because I actually don't enjoy his company that much. We end up breaking up in 3 months after him moving in
How long have you two been dating? Are you hesitant that it’s too soon? Definitely try to not feel forced to let him move in.
If you’re excited about the prospect of moving in together but are questioning whether the studio will be big enough (I’d definitely be concerned about that), then I would embark on a search for a new, bigger apartment together. If you’re not ready to move in together, then that’s another thing
For how long have you been dating/ together?
If it’s not a hell yes, it’s a hell no.
Plus- he seems to be asking out of convenience not that he actually wants to live together as a next step in the relationship.
