Do keep in mind that no dog is fully hypoallergenic. The histamine reaction comes from protein in the DNA which is carried in saliva as well as fur.
That said, you can lessen the chances of a reaction with a curly haired dog since they shed less. I would look for specific breeds as you call around/look at adoption centers: poodles, bijon frise, etc
Wait outside a ritzy coffee shop and steal one

Get a Russian Blue cat. They’re pretty hypoallergenic and cats are better than dogs anyway.

Should also say that if you are going to go the Doodle route, you want F1B to have the best chance at it not triggering an allergic reaction.
Goldendoodle all the way !
For those suggesting breeds can you please include breeder information or adoption agency? Thanks!

No I live in VA. Depending on what breed you are after, there are families that breed with them (it’s kinda like a consortium) all over the East Coast. Ours was from SC but we paid them to just deliver him to us (was last Jan, and that was cheaper than it would have cost to go get him ourselves)
