You might be unlikely to find someone who wants to go into your place and touch your stuff during this time. However, there is high unemployment...so maybe? Keep in mind that if you don't know the person....you might need to sanitize everything after they pack it up.
You can always try an app like Handy (that is how I found my movers a couple of years ago) as a place to start at least for labor. There are a lot of cleaning people and restaurant workers who are under employed. Honestly, if your building has a doorman you might even be able to ask them if they have suggestions.
I also suggest you get in touch with your landlord to discuss options. Consider negotiating a reduced rent for the next month or so while you pack up and leave. I doubt they will get much interest in new tenants right now, so it could be a good opportunity to buy yourself some time to figure this all out (through the month of May at least).
PS: Consider renting a storage space near your parents so you're not bringing your stuff to their place if its not sanitized.
Thanks!!
Most moving companies offer packing and delivery services but as A1 said, someone needs to be in the apartment to open the door and oversee their work. I’m loving this week with piece of cake moving and so far they have been great.
Oh just noticed I meant I’m moving* this week - definitely not “loving this week” lol good luck with your move
