I lost 10 lbs in about 2 months. And I wasn’t able to lose anything in a year prior. Incase anyone needs motivation.

I was already eating healthy but something in my diet was bothering me. I played around with cutting out certain foods and for me, morning coffee and oat milk were both helpful to cut out completely. I stopped bloating.

Other than that, just made it a thing to have to workout at least every other day. It helped that gyms opened up around me. I mix my workout up a lot but if it’s every other day, then it has to be something like hiit classes or weight training. Something to really heat my metabolism up.

And then just getting a lot of sun.

Looking for advice. My wife and I knew we had to go the surrogacy route to grow our family. However, recently we learned that we may also have to go the donor egg path. Although it is possible for my wife to extract her eggs, it would be an uncommon and low probability procedure. She seems fine with the kid not being genetically linked to her or looking like her. I feel like the parts of ADHD that don't suck aren't talked about that much (and I need a reminder, desperately). The one thing I like is my ability (when I can get my brain to work) to focus hard and get something done in a short amount of time. If I'm really locked in, I can get a serious amount of work done fast. feel free to add yours (please lmao💀).

I'm an RN of 7 years, experience as a coordinator, on committees and do all the things. But now I just don't want to go to work anymore. I have anxiety every morning over nothing, just having to go perform my job. I could do my job in my sleep so I'm just lost and confused. My body is clearly sending me messages to leave. But where do I go? I think I need to step out of patient care.

Any WFM nurses out there? Better work-life balance??

I’ve never been a huge gym-goer and when I have I mostly run, cycle and do some ab exercises on the mat. I haven’t worked out in quite some time and have lost a ton of weight recently due to stress. I really want to figure out how to build muscle (honestly in my legs and especially butt) but also am scared of machines and intimidated by squatting weights with my back issues. I am a 38 yo woman, always been very active (I run 20 miles/week), normal BMI, and eat healthy. I just had a routine blood test and while my HDL is 70 and triglycerides 53 (both good), my LDL is suddenly 132 (normal is up to 130). Any tips on what to do? I don’t have heart disease anywhere in my family. Only think I can think is ever since covid started I eat chocolate every night. Could that alone cause this?? Any help appreciated.
