Tech Mahindra Hey guys, I attempted Hackathon by tech Mahindra (for jr java developer 1-3 yr exp). After 3 days I received a call from hr confirming that I have been shortlisted and took hr round on that call. Later I received a document verification mail asking for all essential docs which are required for joining, but didn't received any offer letter yet. When I cross checked mail address with my friend in tech Mahindra, he confirmed that such hr exists with same e-mail id. Is it normal in tech Mahindra?

Hi everyone! Curious if anyone here works for Slack and can shed a little light on the culture and perhaps offer a referral for an associate brand manager position I just saw on LinkedIn. With the Salesforce acquisition are SF employees allowed to refer for Slack roles? Currently a senior analyst with 4 YOE looking to break into a branding role! Thanks in advance.

Research has shown that people that have a new job in hand and then take the counter-offer from their current employer, you're more than likely to leave after a year if staying.
While your situation is not the same, you left the old job for a reason. Whether it was more $, better work/life balance, etc. you should take this time to continue looking for new work.
People are people. But work is supposed to help you grow and be interesting. If it's not going where you want it to go, start looking elsewhere.
Thanks for the feedback. Helped put the decision in a better perspective.
Is there anything you can do to improve the situation at your current employer? Like, if the work isn't challenging enough, maybe ask for more projects or talk it over with your manager?
Half of the work I is analytics work. I’d really love to do this full time and find a job that could challenge me in this realm. I work on the managed services side. Corporate jobs for my level of experience is outsourced to India - mainly senior levels in the Us. Nor do I feel my manager would support finding me a new role with the company so soon since I rejoined.
You can always leave. There's no one you owe more loyalty to than to yourself.
I think I just feel like they put aside that I left the first time and took me back (with a idea that I would stick around).
I actually have done this same thing. I ended up quitting a year later because of my own moral code but honestly, if I could do it again I would have quit after a month. Go with your gut and stick to it,
Yep. Left after a few months, lined something else up first.
