I recently started seeing someone new and he's mentioned that his religion is really important to him. I grew up in a religious household, but I'm not religious at all anymore. My talent discussions are this week and my team lead gave me mediocre feedback and minimized the amount and quality of work I do. I’m upset and work my ass off and have always been readily available to her, even outside of my working hours (Because shit just has to get done). It’s really frustrating.

Assuming no cheating happened, how difficult was it for you to remain loyal and how often did you want to stray?

I hate my job. Absolutely despise it. Wake up/go to sleep every day with a heavy dread for the future. Grind my teeth in my sleep. Gaining weight. Blood pressure spikes whenever my phone goes off. Becoming unable to hide my disdain for coworkers and clients on calls, emails, etc. Have a loving and supportive partner but feel like I can't relate to her at all because she enjoys her work. I don't want to go back to my post-graduation poverty but damn, at least I felt like I was a real person.

It makes me unreasonably angry when I spend my time explaining everything I know about something for a coworker (about one of THEIR tasks, nonetheless, not mine) and the response is either to set up a meeting or to call me. 🤦 Like I’ve told you everything I know about it. Cool, we can call and I’ll read to you what I wrote, but I’ve typed it all for you, not sure what good you think a call is gonna do. I literally know nothing more than what I already wrote and now you’re hindering my work.

I’m really bored. I started seeing a therapist a long time ago and they were helpful but I got bored and started using the sessions to play mind games with the therapist. I genuinely enjoy the intellectual stimulation lol
