What jobs to people look at when going to industry after working in Risk Advisory? I have my CPA but I honestly don’t really feel like I know much about accounting (studied for the test, not to retain the info) and wouldn’t really want to continue doing Risk Advisory considering I’m leaving the role. Just not sure what else is out there since I feel like our work is very specific to IA and serving clients, how does that switch to private?

I was promoted to marketing director in April but didn’t get a raise. This is when the CMO left and my workload has since doubled and I have four people reporting to me. I was hired at $105k so I’m making decent money but I’ve asked several times about bringing it to a director-level salary at $120k. I have started exploring on my own and one thing that came out different were Case Studies interviews and I have started reading and preparing for them.
