I m thinking of buying term life insurance. Can you renew the policy after 10 years, 20 years once it is lapsed and you r still alive?

You can get a new policy when it expires. It’s much more expensive as you get older

OP, technically whole life is the same thing as term if you stop paying for it. The savings part is really just your own money that is not easily accessible growing with a low interest rate.

You pay for insurance in case something happens

I had 20-year term that expired a few years ago, and I shopped around and renewed it with a different insurer.

Anyone know of job opportunities for a UK qualified solicitor (corporate law) in Germany? Doesn't necessarily have to be legal counsel, open to other roles, preferably not a big corporate firm (mental health reasons).

S.O. and I are moving to Germany, both are allowed to work there due to EU nationality so visa is not an issue. Unfortunately not great German language skills (fully aware this poses a problem).

Would really appreciate any help on this, TIA.

Hi! I am in the interview process for a channel manager position internally with my company. Currently I am in outside sales and get a company vehicle that I use for personal use (gas, insurance and maintenance included with a small monthly fee). The new role would mean giving up the benefit. What % salary increase can I expect with the offer? I don't want to fall back financially. My rent has also increased 10%. I'd hate to think the added responsibilities would result in an income loss for me

Thoughts?
