I m tired, started having panick attacks and almost had a burn out. Was asked to work more to cover my sick leave. Now i have an opp as a product manager in a startup and the position seems promising but I am affraid 'cause I feel tired to start a new challenges, I'm looking for a position in Europe and with Deloitte on my CV the task will be easier (based now in a developping country) and i feel that it is still early to leave consulting (4 years in consulting)

How does contract to hire work? If I’m offered $37/hr on w2 for 3 months and then possibly a permanent position, how much can I expect to get annually as a full time company employee as a BI data analyst II? I have a M.S. and certificates in DA but this will be my first job as DA.
I prefer working for what is offered on contract without negotiating, and then negotiate when I transition into the company itself so I have a better chance of getting the contract position and show my skills.

Join birlasoft one month back, but didn't get any project yet. Till now gave two client round perform well in both but afterwards didn't get any kind of response from RMG. RMG people are also not too interactive, they hardly respond to the pings.

But after interview was cleared they offer me 16 LPA package as max budget.

Does work make anyone else angry? I’m not depressed, but just want to put a hole through the wall.

How do I keep anxiety at bay as I start my job search? I haven't interviewed in a long time, and kinda feel like I got lucky the last time I did. I am dreading the process of applying and rejections..

Yesterday was a good day. I was really impressed with myself. I woke up at 5, practiced dance lessons, did two water colors, made breakfast and tea, got to work by 10, put in 8-10 hours of solid work and then came home. It’s been ages since I painted or danced.
However today, I slept till 7:00, did not work out or have food. Still got to work by 10 and did 8 solid hours of work.
Some days are good and some are just okay. And that is okay. Trying to build on my good days and we all can. :)

New to therapy question - I had a consultation with a therapist last week where I unpacked all the shit I kind of want to work on / talked about my life / background. Am I supposed to come to the next meeting with an agenda / stuff I want to talk about or should I expect that therapist to lead? I want to reduce my anxiety overall but I’m not sure what conversations are supposed to accomplish that.

My SO is dealing with a terrible boss who has a history of firing people before their probation period. They have had some really terrible meetings recently and my SO thinks that their boss may be aiming to fire them since my SO is approaching their probation period deadline. Any advice on handling severe depression and anxiety when going through close to 24/7 work? Our deployment is going to span close to 2 months and I have a lot of overnights and long hours coming up.

My therapist just told me I'm depressed..do you ever feel like they tell you things you hear a lot or could have figured out on your own? Like take care of yourself, it's ok to feel such and such, etc. I'm still newer to therapy so wondering if that's the common experience? Do you ever have moments where you're like wow that actually is eye opening and I wouldn't have gotten that from reading self help books and websites etc?

I accidentally overshared information about having anxiety and trouble focusing with someone who is kind of important at the company and now I regret it. She never responded and probably forgot about it but my husband told me that I shouldn’t have done that and I shouldn’t share things like that with people at work unless you are really close with them and now I’m freaking out and crying because I’m scared she will remember that and tell my boss or other higher up people.

I worry I will fall into a job I don't want.
