Hello Folks ,I applied for EPAM anywhere for Devops Engineer recently ,but my profile is not at all getting shortlisted .I already attend 1.5 hour of Interview in November 2021 .it’s because I already applied ,they are not considering ?please suggest
I applied for job 6 months back and my technical interview and everything was cleared.. Accenture process is too slow that again I have to appear for Technical interview instead of HR round.. Interviewer was not interested in taking my interview.. First she rescheduled the interview then she finished my interview in just 20 minutes without even investing proper time.. My interview went well still my candidature is rejected.. I feel like I was interviewed again so that they can reject me..
What does 'shortlisted' status in the mindtree portal mean? Does that mean selected after interview?
How do you approach the question “why are you looking to leave your current company” during an interview? If I could be honest I’d say I’m burnt out and underpaid lol
Recently I joined nagarro and one project has blocked/reserved me with them. Now they will schedule interviews for different teams but still they’re asking to fill timesheet with bench code. Is it right or I should ask them to provide project code so that i can fill timesheet with it ?

What’s fair TC to request from Amazon with 4.5 years of public sector consulting experience? I’m thinking right around 150k, which is in line with another place I’m interviewing at that’s not FAANG. The role is on the data analytics side of the house.
why do hiring managers ask if you are currently interviewing anywhere else? why does it matter?
Completed my final interview for a program manager role at Google almost 2 weeks ago and have not heard back yet. Just received an offer from another company that I am also interviewing with. This is my first time switching jobs…
1. How long does Google usually take to make an offer/reject someone after final round?
2. How should I follow up with recruiter to ask for update? Should I mention the other offer I received?

Anyone else feel like we got suckered into IT audit because we went to a state/less competitive/less prestigious/etc university for undergrad? I started looking into careers that people from top schools go to and noticed they don’t trend to pick IT audit/accounting when there is consulting, IB, PE, product, etc.

I frequently tell people that to truly appreciate Grand Seiko you really need to see it in person. Part of that is the dials and their texture, but a big part is also seeing the angles of the 44GS case and how the light plays off the zaratsu polishing. It’s hard to photograph, I tried my best here, but it’s really something else. Also cool from this angle you can see how the watch sits and how the 14mm thickness is a little deceiving.
I’m on a large-ish patent litigation matter where (1) I’m the only woman on a team of 14 people; (2) I’m the only junior associate; and (3) I’m the only POC. I know this shouldn’t bother me but it’s frustrating and intimidating.

How do you all handle working at a place that doesn’t really listen to your ideas early but then eventually move towards that same concept later? I’m trying to not give up because I’ve invested so much time but at some point it’s time to move on to another opportunity.
UX/Product designers at large companies, what has your experience been like? I work for a mid-sized company but it’s a lot bigger than my previous companies. I feel like everything I work on has to go through so many different people and by the time it’s finalized I feel like the design doesn’t even feel like mine anymore. People also seem to overthink every little design decision which causes things to move so slowly. Do you guys have the same experience at a large company?
Can I get some honest feedback on my resume? I have 2, which one is better? Should I make a completely different one? I don’t have a lot of experience

Hi everyone! I’m still currently interviewing and I’ve finally made it to the portfolio round of 3 companies. I’m excited but overwhelmed since I’m still pretty green to the field. One company informed me that I could just share my website bc I will be creating a ppt for the a case study OR I can use a ppt to present my portfolio. So my question is, should I create a ppt for this company? Lol. I’ve been watching YouTube videos and ppl are using Figma or keynote to present. Thank you in advance!
I f**ed up my interview for a UX designer role at a 11-50 employees boutique company out of covid depression. They’ve been looking to fill that role for 3mo as far as I know. There’s now also a UI designer opening. Are my chances thin for either roles when I do apply?
How long did it take you to become effortless at Figma? I am trying to tackle the advanced sections in 15 days. I am really great graphic ui design with Figma. I know how to make auto-layouts such as structuring, responsive text boxes and buttons and constraints on grids and columns. I also understand basic variants and I can follow Figma enough to work to tutorials. My process of using the meat (auto layout and variants) of Figma isn’t effortless as I’d like. Is this doable? 15-30 days?
Where is everybody from? I am in SF
I’m currently doing a bootcamp to pivot from Marketing to becoming a UX/UI designer and I am anxious to just *be* proficient at using Figma. I know it’s the industry standard, but I don’t feel like I know how to use it at all since it’s such a new program to me and I don’t know where to really start to learn how to be an expert. Does anyone have a good source, YouTube, or site I can use to become a pro at it? I’m very passionate about switching fields and want to just feel confident at this.
I bought run studio run, and I’m gonna read it about 80 more times.

Im a lead ux designer and currently excited and nervous about having my first direct report. How do you all deal with preparing yourself for management? This will be someone new to the field so, I’m responsible for teaching them the ropes.
Healthy design discussions with developers vs. open season on the designers. Last month with one dev team it felt like open season, they argued with most of my decisions and the spirit seemed to be they wanted to design the app. Other teams I have worked with there was a lot of collaboration, what was technically feasible in the allotted time, or someone had solved a problem differently in another context. That to me is healthy discussion. Thoughts? Experiences?
UX Designers/ Product designers: how many hours a week do you typically work, and have you dealt with pressure to work longer hours? If so how have you dealt with that pressure?

Hi, I’m trying to update my portfolio to apply for a UX design senior role, this is my first time. What types of info should I include in my portfolio that reflects senior role level designer? I know mentoring/being advocate is one thing but how do you show these in portfolio? Is there anyone here available to help me in my portfolio/ give advice or even become my mentor ❤️ would really appreciate it! I have 4yrs of ux design experience.
I'm preparing for power day at Capital One for the user experience designer role. Are the UX case studies the same as other product cases I'm seeing for other product positions at the company? I.e. innovate an everyday object on 10 ways or how would you improve your favorite popular app. Seems different than other tech company whiteboard challenges in UX/product design!
