Anyone ever apply for a job within the same holding company but different agency? How does this work?

If I took the GMAT 6 times to get a 760 and cancelled the 5 previous scores. Should I put down 6 for the Booth/Wharton app that asks for how many times you’ve taken the test? Trying to determine if the benefits of peace of mind/being honest (when the schools aren’t able to see the cancelled attempts) outweigh the negative perception of taking the test that many times. Thoughts?

When you’re talking to an internal recruiter for an agency role, should you tell them specifically what account(s) you would most want to work on?

So my husband tested positive for covid using the at home test kits. We’re both vaccinated. How likely do you think that I get it too? I currently have a sore throat and general fatigue but tested negative using the at home kit.

I don’t want to take calls at 8 am and at 8 pm as well.. can I put my foot down and say that I will work only between 9-5 or is that not acceptable in consulting ?

Have an interview this week for an FSO consulting job at EY. I’ve been studying the company as much as possible and becoming even more convinced that I would love this job and organization. What’s been your experience with big 4 interviews and showcasing your best self?

I get the sense that most IBD folks have no real technical modelling skills/don’t understand how to efficiently build models/don’t understand excel’s capabilities.

The valet thing used to annoy me. Now I really like it. No overhead space wars makes for a much more relaxing Monday morning.

Throughout my career, I have worked at both “traditional” and “digital” shops. My current agency would fall under traditional but also offers digital services. Our process, roles and skillsets seem way outdated but I wasn’t sure if it was just my opinion or if this is just how it works. For example, we have no CTO or tech leads. Our digital producers feel more like project managers than actual producers. Account Management is just traditional, no real digital knowledge. Feels layered and dated.

Is there anything worse than the hord of people crowing the gate before the agent even starts the boarding call?
