Congratulations Partner!

It must not have been easy. Sweat and blood. Congrats 🍾

Congratulations and welcome to the club 👍

Congratulation, now please tell us the mantra!

Thanks all... dunno if it is a mantra as much as sticking through it. I had an incredibly supportive partner team around me. I made it a point to pick the 4-5 partners who would matter this most and worked with them on projects over the last 3 years. The other thing I did deliberately was to plot out my partner connectivity plan and found ways to connect with partners over the course of 3 years. Paid off in terms of soundings and I got great projects to hit my numbers.

This is the way!!^^

Congratulations 🎉🎊🎈

Congratulations, which firm

Good for you! Hope you take some time to celebrate 😁

From Director to partner - amazing. Which firm.

That’s right.

Many congratulations! 🎉

Is it worth it?

How do they know ? They just made it now. They deserve to enjoy the moment rather than questioning the achievement

Anyone ever apply for a job within the same holding company but different agency? How does this work?

If I took the GMAT 6 times to get a 760 and cancelled the 5 previous scores. Should I put down 6 for the Booth/Wharton app that asks for how many times you’ve taken the test? Trying to determine if the benefits of peace of mind/being honest (when the schools aren’t able to see the cancelled attempts) outweigh the negative perception of taking the test that many times. Thoughts?

When you’re talking to an internal recruiter for an agency role, should you tell them specifically what account(s) you would most want to work on?

So my husband tested positive for covid using the at home test kits. We’re both vaccinated. How likely do you think that I get it too? I currently have a sore throat and general fatigue but tested negative using the at home kit.

I don’t want to take calls at 8 am and at 8 pm as well.. can I put my foot down and say that I will work only between 9-5 or is that not acceptable in consulting ?

Are there any benchmarks / reference point for post-merger integration costs?

Have an interview this week for an FSO consulting job at EY. I’ve been studying the company as much as possible and becoming even more convinced that I would love this job and organization. What’s been your experience with big 4 interviews and showcasing your best self?

I get the sense that most IBD folks have no real technical modelling skills/don’t understand how to efficiently build models/don’t understand excel’s capabilities.

The valet thing used to annoy me. Now I really like it. No overhead space wars makes for a much more relaxing Monday morning.

Throughout my career, I have worked at both “traditional” and “digital” shops. My current agency would fall under traditional but also offers digital services. Our process, roles and skillsets seem way outdated but I wasn’t sure if it was just my opinion or if this is just how it works. For example, we have no CTO or tech leads. Our digital producers feel more like project managers than actual producers. Account Management is just traditional, no real digital knowledge. Feels layered and dated.

Is there anything worse than the hord of people crowing the gate before the agent even starts the boarding call?

Hi All, I was approached by a recruiter to interview for a manager role at Strategy& based out of Toronto. He mentioned the base pay range for a new M will be CAD 145-155k.
Can someone please share:
1: What the interview process will be like?
2: Is the base pay in line?
3: If I go through, is there a signing bonus?PwC Strategy&

I didn't vote for him but he's OUR president now. This is how our election system works. I still love my country and my freedoms so let's move forward together.
