I got selected because my crotch area looked "bulky". 🍆🥴

So I get escorted to the private pat down room. Two ladies come in, one with a glove box in hand. I saw that, panicked, and immediately pulled down my pants and undies, and showed them I had nothing on me.

The lady with gloves bursts out laughing and said I had a cute tattoo. No hands were laid on me. They let me go.😮‍💨

How do you handle a CD that overrides everything to do with web/UX/UI for their own opinions and tastes? A few months ago the same CD admitted to having no new web knowledge since the mid 90's...

My team and I have provided research/data backed design choices but our CD could care less. We present our ideas in a respectful manner but it seems he interprets it as a threat to his authority. It makes for a frustrating work environment and our products aren't nearly as successful as they could be.

I think non-inclusive teams aren't revenue-efficient, but also aren't morally bad. Most just want to live in their bubble and not have their lives disrupted. If people want coworkers to talk football or cricket or fashion or LGBTQ+ rights with, that's entirely their prerogative. Companies and teams aren't just money printers, but also communities. You can't expect to fit into all communities.
