IMO it depends on your YOE and skillset, tho it does sound a bit low (I'd expect you to be in the 150-160 range, though that's where I was as an SM so take that with a grain of salt). I think this app paints an unrealistic picture of salaries, and that the federal market is a different market than others bc of rate pressures unfortunately.

I've thought about leaving but I like my work and the people I work with. I also like the autonomy I have and the ability to drive new work that I'm interested in. I'm also relatively close to making PPMD (1-2 years) so there's that. But even when I was an SC and M, I could have left for a lot more $ but I value my network and the fact that I can completely be my own person where im at. Starting over is hard!
Unlike EY1, my WLB has always been a bit shitty in the eyes of most, but that's in part bc great work gets more work.
Get an offer. Ask Accenture to match.
We did a lot of market adjustment this performance cycle. So what you are paid probably also has to do with your skills. That’s why an offer helps validate your position around compensation.
Pro
Get an offer you’d actually leave for, and then ask Accenture to match.

Yes, hope you’re enjoying poverty
You’re like on average 30k behind
Great hah

Yea
Sir/Ma’am, that’s what I’m making w 3YOE in federal. Gtfo and get your monies friend.
Can you share more? Starting salary, level, counter
Ugh need to update my resume
135 was my M1 salary as an MC. So it could be low or it could be average
No. My salary didn’t change at M2, due to Covid.
Pro
Sounds like you’re slightly average, if not on the lower side, but I’d imagine your salary is prob right due to being in there federal space and/or in a MCOL/LCOL state and the skillset you utilize.
Absolutely, DM me
When I was B4, M1 was 135 and M2 was 147 in federal consulting.
This was between 2019-2021. But I know many of my former colleagues were below me (I came in with 10 YOE, so I was billed out higher than others).
Yes
YOE?
Not in big 4. Only 2 years in big 4 but In smaller firms for 10

It's on the lower end of average. Anywhere from $130-150k for federal in DC is pretty typical.
Okay I need to leave. Looks my options are new job, counter offer, or LLP

Yeah this market is really skewing things. It's not normal - wasn't 12 months ago and might not be in 12 Months.
Ugh I make $129,828 as M2 in federal enabling areas. This is pretty low huh? 😢
Yea dude… :(
