During salary negotiations with Infosys. HR : what is the offer you holding? Me : 40 HR : We would not be able to match that. Me : yes I understand, but you need to compensate me on some other parameters, maybe onsite opportunity. You cannot say since this is Infosys, take 30 or leave. HR : no, the max we can offer is 26. 😸😸

You my friend are severely underpaid and I would highly recommend you reevaluate your big 4 firm choice.
I started in Nyc (assurance) at 58, raise to a2 brought me to around 60.5 (tier 3), raise to a3 brought me to 65k (tier 2) and raise to senior 1 brought me to 72k (tier 2) - just to put it in perspective also FYI tier 1 is the best you can get at PwC
You are dramatically underpaid.
I started with 58k and had around 6% & 8% raises in two years. Partner saying this is fairly good compensation in the industry was complete bullshit. I need to thank fishbowl and you folks for enlightening me. Maybe I wait until bonus comes in and say good bye to the firm
I thought NYC/SF/LA A1s started at 60...
You are getting absolutely fleeced. This has got to be a typo.
Moss Adams is super underpaid too
73k S1 Philly
You are underpaid.
I made 75k as an S1 in NYC 2 years ago
That doesn’t make sense. I made $65k as a second year in Deloitte in NYC a couple years ago. How are you making that as a senior?
You’re senior bonus should have pushed you well into the 70s especially in NYC. Maybe higher.
A1 in Chicago start at 62k
65k is about what S1s are making here on low COL Midwest.
$73k as a S1 in Bay Area
69,5 and I’ve only been at the firm for 10 months... you’re definitely underpaid
What the hell, I'm staff 2 in the west region and I make 65k
Have any interest in FAAS? Let me know, I can promise you will get a significant raise
Op said New York. Not NYC
That amount in nyc? You are fucked
