That is definitely worth the “downgrade” Title means nothing honestly. Not in this economy

I don’t doubt that it may come up, but I think their explanation would be a good one. Would be a shame to give up that sort of monetary differentiation based future *potential* issues. We have no idea where the economy will be soon so I’m erring on the side of padding money now and figuring out optics later when it becomes relevant.
Some sort of twisted faith I see this confession just a few hours after debating law school

Capital One, I’d seriously think long and hard about law school, especially if you don’t intend to practice. If you do not want to practice, there might be a more efficient way to meet your goals. If your dream is to practice, I say go for it, but educate yourself on what “practice” will look like for you.
I’ve heard of lots of attorneys that went to smaller law schools working as paralegals in big law. It’s more money and you’ll make OT as well. Others say that they love the high profile work that they might not get as a smaller firm.

I think taking a paralegal job might hinder your career. I’d keep looking for lawyer positions.
Is it a good firm? I don’t know if you should downgrade
Where are you and what type of law do you want to practice?

Is the remote part the issue? My brother was interviewing at several law firms and all wanted him in the office.
